...so you wanna know more about the site, huh? Well this is the place to be! Right. So, I've been making graphics for about 3 years now, but never even thought about making a graphics site until the start of 2008. I've had sites in the past, but nothing like EID. So... I decided to try to make a graphics site about March. [2008] That didn't go so well. I started, and then stopped, and then forgot about it. My health got worse, so I couldn't really do all that much around July/August 08. So I decided to try again. The first layout and name was based around this. "Almost everything comes from nothing." - Henry F. Amiel. The name was going to be "New Beginnings" I thought it was a good quote, and that it would fit in with why I was doing the site. But then I really thought about it and realised how much the name sucked. ;] Eventually I thought of a new name. I don't know where it's from... I remember seeing it around somewhere... I think... and thought it was perfect. "I can shine even in darkness." I switched it round a bit so its "Even In Darkness :: I Can Shine." I loved it then, and still love it now x] And that's it! I almost didn’t get this up for my 1st October ’08 launch date, but I managed it and now it’s been going over a year. |
